"It was all about me and [KayBee Photos] did a great job capturing the vision. It was a blast. My photos turned out great! They did a great job making my vision come alive. The turn around was fast. The quality was great. From beginning to the end."

-Tania

 Portrait Client

Kirstie and Sarah are a best friend photography duo that met all the way back in 5th grade! They can often communicate with just a simple look or hand gesture (which comes in very handy during wedding ceremonies!!) It's not uncommon to find them dying of laughter from their own jokes - and they're not sorry.

After working as freelancers for many different companies, they learned many do's and don'ts to get KayBee Photos where it is today. The chemistry of these two is unmatched and they strive to bring their clients the same joy they bring to each other.

Kirstie Bussie

Owner/Lead Photographer

Kirstie graduated from Benedictine University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts and shortly after created what has now become KayBee Photos. She's fantasized about her own wedding since she can remember and they quickly became her favorite thing to photograph. She finally married her high school sweetheart in 2018. In 2020 they welcomed their baby boy, Oliver and in 2023, they welcomed their daughter, Emerson. Her photographic style is best described as photojournalistic and contemporary. When she's not taking photos, you can most commonly find her at home playing with her kids and her pups, Hossa and Archie, watching her favorite TV show, FRIENDS, or reading one psychological thriller after the next.
